We are excited to introduce our new community venture intended to support and promote traditional crafts. The workshop will provide a location for courses in heritage crafts and a hub for workshops and demonstrations in traditional building skills.
Stuckton Workshop will be run as a not-for-profit organisation providing workshop space, heritage craft courses and exhibition space for local artists and crafts people.

Stuckton Workshop is based in Stuckton near Fordingbridge in the New Forest. The workshop forms part of the site of the old Stuckton Iron Foundry established in 1790. The buildings are a local landmark that are an important part of the industrial heritage
of the area.

Our mission is to support and promote traditional trades and crafts,
through education and demonstration working in partnership with regional heritage associations, local schools and youth organisations. Please get in touch with us if you are interested in forming
a collaboration.

In addition to providing a workshop for heritage craft training, our intention is to conserve and restore the historic buildings of the site. The workshop comprises part of the site of the Old Stuckton Iron Foundry which later became Armfield Agricultural Engineering Works.

You may have noticed some changes to the site at Stuckton over the past few months. We have been busy behind the scenes undertaking surveys and clearing the site of debris from the previous scrap metal yard. We will be submitting plans for a new classroom and practical improvements to the current workshop over the coming weeks.
